SWANSON Beta-Carotene is a dietary supplement that contains 25000 IU/10000 IU of beta-carotene (provitamin A) per one capsule.
Beta carotene – an orange-red pigment contained in fruits and vegetables, giving them color that signifies their ripeness. The largest amount of beta carotene is found in carrots, hence also its name. Its other sources are chard, chicory, pumpkin, kale, dill, parsley leaves, sorrel, spinach, peach, mango, melon, apricot and plum.
