Lab One N°1 Enzymes Shot is a dietary supplement consisting of 10 carefully selected digestive enzymes. They support the proper digestion of proteins, fats, carbohydrates, fiber, and even milk sugar, i.e. lactose.
Digestive enzymes are chemicals produced in the digestive and responsible for proper digestion. They perform the function of specific biocatalysts and allow the decomposition of complex compounds to simple molecules.
The preparation contains up to 10 carefully selected digestive enzymes. They include proteases (they degrade peptide bonds in proteins); amylases (they degrade glycosidic bonds in carbohydrates); lipases (responsible for the hydrolysis of ester bonds in fats); cellulase (allows the hydrolysis of cellulose that builds plant fibers) and lactase (breaks down lactose into easily digestible glucose and galactose). Thus, the supplement provides comprehensive support for the digestive system and enables proper digestion of all types of food.
Only natural enzymes have been used in the preparation. Some of them (papain, bromelain) have been obtained from plant tissues, while others are of microbial origin and have been obtained from bacterial, fungal or yeast cultures. Besides, the supplement comes in the form of vegetable capsules, which makes it suitable for people on a vegetarian or vegan diet.
