JARROW Astaxanthin is a dietary supplement, in which one capsule contains 12 mg of astaxanthin ocurring naturally in seaweed that is a powerful antioxidant. It's a natural karetonoid which because of its unique structure plays an important role in the protection of cells against free radicals. Astaxanthin is a molecule of a red pigment, belonging to the group of carotenoids which are found in various algae and marine organisms.
