Hepatica Sunwic is a dietary supplement that contains 80% soluble fiber from guar beans. In 2.5 g of the product we will find as much as 2 g of fiber. In its simple composition, it contains only partially hydrolyzed guar gum, without unnecessary additives.
Guar bean, or Cyamopsis tetragonoloba, is a legume native to India and Pakistan. It is cultivated mainly for the seeds from which guar gum is made. The seeds of this exotic bean are rich in a polysaccharide consisting of galactose and mannose molecules, which is the main ingredient used in the production of the popular guar gum. The seeds are shelled, ground and sieved to separate the endosperm from the seed coat.
