AH Hydroxo-Adeno B12 Tabs is a dietary supplement containing vitamin B12 in two forms – hydroxocobalamin and adenosylcobalamin. These are unmethylated forms, naturally occurring in food and in the body.

Vitamin B12 supports normal energy metabolism, helps maintain normal homocysteine metabolism, and reduces tiredness and fatigue. It supports the immune system and participates in red blood cell production. It also contributes to the proper functioning of the nervous system.

Hydroxocobalamin is a form of vitamin B12 containing a hydroxyl group (-OH) in its molecule. It is an inactive form of vitamin B12, but is easily converted in the body into the active adenosylcobalamin and methylcobalamin.

Adenosylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B12 containing 5-deoxyadenosine in its molecule. Adenosylcobalamin is a coenzymatic, active form of vitamin B12 that does not require further conversion in the body. Referred to by some as "mitochondrial vitamin B12," adenosylcobalamin participates in the citric acid cycle, a process occurring in mitochondria responsible for cellular energy production.
