Aliness Natural Resveratrol is a dietary supplement containing the highest-quality trans-resveratrol, designed by the Swiss company Evolva, under the brand name – Veri-te™.
Resveratrol is an organic chemical compound that belongs to phytoalexins. It is synthesized by plants, whereas the best-known sources of the compound are grapes and Japanese knotweed. It occurs in the form of cis and trans isomers, where only the trans isomer shows biological activity. It has a beneficial effect on the human body – it is credited with, among others, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-cancer effects.
The presented preparation contains the unique Veri-te™ trans-resveratrol. It is produced in an innovative fermentation process of Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast. It is characterized by excellent purity; it is free from pesticides and PAH (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons). There is a concern that many plant-extracted preparations containing resveratrol contain a too high concentration of PAHs, and these are carcinogenic compounds.
Resveratrol has anti-aging potential. It shows a positive effect on the activity of sirtuins, especially SIRT1 and SIRT3. These proteins are one of the most important factors regulating the rate of the body’s aging. They are responsible, among others for determining and repairing DNA damage; they also protect cells from programmed death and prolong their replication cycle.
Resveratrol shows cardioprotective effects. As a powerful antioxidant, it inhibits the lipid peroxidation process and increases the cell's resistance to oxidative stress. It may also limit the incorporation of oxidized low-density lipoprotein (LDL) into the walls of blood vessels. Besides, it stimulates the production of nitric oxide, which is crucial to maintaining normal blood pressure. Finally, it prevents excessive platelet aggregation.
Resveratrol has neuroprotective properties. It may potentially support Alzheimer's or Parkinson's therapy. This compound is conducive to increasing the level of substances protecting against the harmful effects of free radicals and it stimulates the breakdown of harmful β-amyloid.
