Lion's Mane by Aliness is a dietary supplement consisting of high-quality, double-standardized extract of Hericium einaceus. 400 mg of extract in one capsule guarantees the content of:
• 40% polysaccharides (160 mg),
• 20% beta-glucans (80 mg).
Hericium einaceus is a type of edible mushroom with the unique appearance of a lion's mane, hence the common name Lion's Mane. It is known for its health-promoting properties and, above all, its beneficial effects on the brain and nervous system, which is the subject of many scientific studies. The erinacea is a mushroom that is extremely rare in nature. In Poland it is under strict protection. Lion's Mane, like other mushrooms, is rich in polysaccharides, including beta-glucans, which are beneficial for the body. In addition, it is a source of protein and minerals, as well as active substances unique to this species, such as erinacins and hericenones.
Lion's mane is included in the group of adaptogens, i.e. natural substances that increase the body's adaptability in response to unfavorable environmental conditions. Adaptogens facilitate adaptation to increased exposure to stress factors.
